Help answer the question about fitness
How much does cardinal fitness cost for couples with the start up costs included?My fiance and I wanted to join cardinal fitness in the midwest, does anyone know how much it costs?

@joeglimmix If you just want to be lean, you should choose lighter weights. If you want to bulk up, bigger weights would be needed.
Yes. It's called Camp Pendleton. You have to join the U.S. Marine Corps to go there – but you will emerge as a human machine.
Talk to a recruiter. You can join at 17 if your parents consent to it, 18 otherwise.
Other than that, join a gym but you'll always be 2nd rate.
your videos are great and the exercises work perfectly without being tiring!thank you!!
eat curry, spicy food, chilli. definitely will pump your blood,
The Army can build you up physically. They've been doing it for a long time now and are experts on it.
The problem isn't just young people coming in who are physically unfit. The problem is that many young people nowadays lead a sedentary lifestyle, meaning they spend the majority of their time watching TV, playing video games, and sitting in front of a computer. As a result, their bone density is much less than young people a generation ago, which means they are much more susceptible to injuries such as stress fractures since their bones are much weaker.
The Army has revamped their physical training as a result, but there are still many injuries.
It doesn't matter that your MOS is in support. The primary job of everyone in the Army is a soldier first, and your specialty second. If you can't do your primary job, the Army doesn't care how well you do your secondary job, even if you have a college degree.
I started today and I am going to do 5 days a week. I really want to tone my arms. Thanks !
@gemma1701 2/2 I played QB on my bro’s football team. &I think cuz of that, my arm pops EVERY time I dip down for my D-up & it’s quite painful sometimes, or other times just annoying &scary to think about how much trauma the pops will cause 5-10 yrs later. SO I’ve been looking for a less stressful but just as effective routine ^^. You can probably do those ma’am &you’ll notice results within 2weeks I swear! Since it’s summer &most ppl wear tanks, take pre&post measurements for proof! GoodLuck =]
I would do Tumbling and Contemporary. Why are you listening to Leana anyway? She hasn't been an example of success.
@donnamw
i did it today and my arms are a lil sore ^^..im gonna do it 5 days a week, thnx and good luck!
First of all, if you are going to a junior college and plan to join AFROTC all your credits may not transfer over. So while academically you may be a junior, by your major you may be considered a sophmore or even a freshman. The first two years of ROTC are pretty much getting to know the military. It's basically "boot camp" spread over two years without the pain and agony of the real thing. You must be in the last two years in order to be commissioned.
Your physical fitness should be at it's peak performance. For Army ROTC standards you must be able to run a two mile distance in under 16:36, you must be able to do 45 pushups in two minutes, and 55 situps in two minutes with ten minute breaks in between starting with PU, then SU, then run. This can really help you for scholarships, commissioning, and leadership ability by maxing these standards at 13:00 2 mile, 75 PU, and 88 SU.
Scholarships are based on boards. You go to a board and they ask you a series of questions about leadership and your committment to the armed forces. They also base your scholarship on whether you have Athletic, Academic, or just Leadership experience. I believe boards are once a semester.
A schedule usually consists of PT at 7-8AM M/W/F. You go to a lab for 2-3 hours a week and once a semester you go to the field for training for a couple of days. Also, some charity work is usually done on weekends sparatically through the semester.
As for advice, talk to your ROTC recruiter and your registration and records office to see where you stand academically. If you are nervous about being behind the rope see if AFROTC has something called SMP, it's simultaneous members program. What you do is join the National Guard (Air for you) and one weekend a month you shadow underneath an office during their national guard weekends. I believe if you go through the basic training portion for the national guard you are not obligated to complete the first two years of ROTC.
@gemma1701
Bingo wings XD???????
LoL that’s a new one….I have what I call elbow boobs lols….with bingo wings I guess? lol but that lil pudge of skin over your elbow yeahhhh that thing lol. D-ups are VERY effective for toning you arms SUPER FAST if your strength level is already there. I used to do them and was roughly dropping 1/2inch to an inch every week &at the same time puts a sexy tone underneath BUT I used to..still am actually x] was a MAJOR tomboy and…(1/2)
Bring with you only items they told you to bring. If they gave you no additional instructions, dress neatly and report by the time you were told to report.
You can begin by calling him "sir", and if he wants you to call him something else he will tell you. Just because he may be younger than you is no matter. He is the instructor and deserves your respect.
You need to get used to wearing your underwear or being naked around other men. So don't ask to bring your gym clothes. If instructed to remove your pants, just do as you are told.
You are attending this boot camp to obtain a position at a cadet camp. Your instructors are preparing you so that you will be a good man. Make up your mind to do everything you are instructed to do in exactly the way you are told, without question. You need to be as good a follower as you can be so that you can become a good leader.
thank you for this video!!!
After the first week, its pretty basic.
You wake up, have formation, come back and clean the barracks, go eat breakfast.
Then go to class, go to another class, eat lunch, go to class, go to another class. Then do PT.
Come back and shower, then eat dinner.
Some days you will go to different units on the base and do paperwork, select your afsc, start the security clearance paperwork, etc.
Some days you will go to the obstacle course or fireing range.
Lots of practice marching
You are usually done for the day around 5 to 6 pm.
Things that help:
Volunteer for Fire Guard from the 4 am to 6 am time.
That way, you can get your area squared away, while everyone is asleep. And you don't have to worry about running around like a chicken without a head in the morning.
Volunteer for CQ runner, especially on weekends, I did and got to watch football on ther CQ TV, and even had thr CQ buy me mcdonalds once to eat.
After your there for a month, volunteer for fire watch for the new flights during their first week there.
There is nothing like being told by a TI, to trash the newbies barracks, while they are eating, by taking the beds apart and throwing all the bedding and mattress's into huge piles.
Basic can be alot of fun, you just have to get past that first week.
you need to lift heavier weights, you are not even sweating.
@donnamw im starting today… lol
